The Paris Bourse opens up, Dexia and Veolia down

The Paris Bourse started up in early trade, supported by oil companies and banks, with the exception of Dexia receding after the release of its quarterly results.

Investors are cautious before the release of key figures of employment in the U.S. this afternoon.

At 9:30, the CAC 40 index is 0.71% at 3791.02 points.

Following the publication of their results, Veolia Environnement lost 1.4% and 1.8% Dexia after opening up.

Among the largest increases, Credit Agricole takes 1.5% and 1.8%, while Technip barrel of U.S. light crude gained 40 cents to 82.41 dollars this morning.

Other major European markets also rose: London is 0.71% and 0.72% Frankfurt.As for the European indices, the EuroStoxx 50 gained 0.72% and 0.61% Eurofirst 300.

The euro is still trending up and treated around 1.32 dollar against 1.3185 the previous day in the afternoon.
